I counted at least three times were Mascher went down in a "Crumpled Heap" today. It was like watching the second coming of Didi. :mischief:

He's more obvious in winning his fouls.

Didi's are still a notch above.

The best one was at the end when the young Argentinian went in on Mascher and he went down like a sack of spuds. The kid looked at him in disbelieve but still had the look of respect while Mascher picking himself up had that sly "Didiesque" look of innocense on his face........... priceless.

But Masch needs to watch his mouth.

yep. i'm all for attitude from the players but it needs to be smart. cole was getting a second yellow until mascherano went overboard.

Thats what I thought at the time as well, and the worst of it is its needless, Masch was some distance away, so it wasnt as if he was directly involved. Rafa needs to have a quiet word with the lad, because if he develops a reputation for this, he might get booked for far lesser by the refs.

I agree with that. Even after he's been sent off for mouthing off to a ref, he was still having a go after the yellow card yesterday.

haha yeah, the kid was like, 'oh what have i done, i've tackled the monster!'

Its a fine line with Masch between snarling and snapping at anything that moves which is what makes him so good and getting carried away with the mouthing off.
