iPhone question

I use a Mac at home & a PC for work. The phone is for work. It'll by synced through the PC. Am I able to hook it up to the Mac - to get my iTunes & stuff - as well as the PC so I can get my email through Outlook & stuff, or is it like an ipod & has to be one ot 'tother?
