Whenever we score or anything half decent happens, people whip out their cameras and start snapping away.

Can someone explain to me why?

I can understand if its your first time to anfield and all that but seriously what the f*** do you hope to gain? Are you going to be looking at the pictures and sharing them with loved ones going "ah yes this is when babel got the winner against the mancs and i thought it best to take a f***ing photo rather than celebrate, thank f*** i have a picture to remind me of it".

Really pisses me off (people doing it at music gigs can f*** off too)

The worst was those on the march. I am telling you it usually doesn't anger me, but especially near the Kop we had plebs just gawking at us.

It actually got very aggressive without threatening to turn violent, one fella in front of me literally screamed in one of these camera holding plebs faces saying something along the lines of '.....Join the f***ing march, put that camera down your doing f*** all'

The only thing that really miffs me is people leaving early.

Some daytripper with his two female companions - start walking out with 5 minutes to go and stop in front of us - it's not the first time I've had to manhandle someone out that starts walking out and then stops in front of me.

Nearly had a fight with some c*** in the Havant game that stopped in front of me and stood on my shoes.

Not often I want to stick one on someone - I'm usually pretty chilled - but these b******s should be banned for life.

Of all the annoying things going on at Anfield people taking a few snaps is one of the least worrying.

There are always going to be a fair number of people enjoying their first game, or their first really big game. Taking pictures is understandable, Ive got loads of pictures of my first trips to Anfield, its memories.

It doesnt make you a worse fan, and it certainly doesnt make you a better fan if you dont, or you come on here moaning about it.

It's an irritant.

It's like

'QUICK IT'S BILL SHANKLY TAKE A PICTURE WHILE HE'S STANDING STILL'

Thats such a snotty attitude.

You can go to the game whenever you like, some people might get there once a year, or once in their life time.

Fans see the statue or the gates on TV every week and finally getting to see them is a great experience, something you want to capture. If you go to see the Pyramids or Niagra Falls you take some pictures, what the problem. Really?

I really cant begrudge people doing that.

taking pictures of the the gates, statue and the ground is fair enough

but if it is your only game of the season, wouldn't you want to watch that game and really enjoy the moment of scoring, rather than whipping the camera out and missing it all?

Id swap the people who go week in, week out, and leave 10 minutes before the end of each half to get drinks/beat the traffic with the happy snappers any day.

Haven't been to Anfield in eight years, but as I'm graduating soon and hopefully get a decent job I can finally afford going this spring; I'm bound to have a camera with me. However I can't see myself snapping photos during the match and I certainly would not have the presence to do it during goal celebrations.

But I do remember me doing it at Camp Nou (Barca vs. Deportivo) two years ago for the fun of it. I guess if your not a "super-fan" and not too bothered by the result and everything that goes on the pitch you're probably more bound to take some touristy photos. It's probably just something you have to live with. People have paid for their tickets and as long as they are not bothering other folks (like standing in front of them) there is really not a lot to do. Some will unavoidably come for the Anfield experience, it being one of the most famous football grounds in the world, not necessarily to support Liverpool or our opponents on the day. Much like I did going to Barca.

No excuse for leaving early imo.

I would yeh but that doesnt go for everyone. Theres also a fair few at the game there for the experience rather than the actual fixture itself.

Daytrippers, wives and girlfriends etc, that have either been dragged to the game or are taking in the whole Anfield experience rather than just the 90 mins as any week in, week out fan would.

There would have been s*** loads of fans there yesterday that didnt know about SOS or the march.

A lot would have just thought it was a load of fans creating a pre-match atmosphere and thinking "wow this is amazing!"

Its really refreshing to know that the LFC way of educating people to our fights and causes has come down to verbally abusing people.

Maybe a flyer with some information would have been better than telling people to f*** off?

If you see a march singing about the yanks and you share the same feeling, by all intents and purposes take pictures, but join us and do so. Also regardless whether you didn't know about the march, you could hear us/see us coming from a mile off, and to those who stayed in the cabbage before the game, you are a disgrace.

The only cameras I wanted to see there where those of Sky and BBC, if any fan wants to film the march, do it and do it within the march, FWIW There was no fights, it got aggressive without threatening to turn violent.

What better feeling would there be to go home and tell your friends and family, I joined in a march to get the owners out? That sense of pride is worth more than a photograph...

Still doesn't justify the aggression to other people, its pathetic actually.

I wonder why some people didn't join a march that "got aggressive"?
