Barnesy_10
I am 30 and always felt like I have a problem with my lower back. Not sure where it originates from but a couple of years ago I was playing football and I got a sharp pain in my back which led to me hardly being able to move and was in severe pain. Took about two weeks to recover fully.Anyway, on Sunday I lifted my son up and I got a sharp pain in my back which led to me being in agony and unable to move, the pain goes right down my left leg. Got painkillers from GP and got given a 4 week wait for physio. f*** that, on the phone to one in town and had an appointment with a chiropracter on Rodney St today. Did some checks and X-Rays and examined my posture, which he says is a mess. Get the x-ray results tomorrow but he thinks I have sciatica caused by a damaged disc! He said I am very young to get it.I guess I am just after some assurances from someone who have been in a similar position?
