"Remember I told you..."

I've had two people this week finish conversations with me by saying "Remember I told you..." and then looking at me expectantly as if I should say something.

 

Apparently "Ok" and "Remember you told me what?" weren't the responses they were looking for as they both said it again, before shrugging their shoulders and telling me it doesn't matter and leaving.

 

What the f*** are they talking about?
