He's playing according to the Spanish press, but Villa, Garcia, Iniesta are out injured in the first two cases and not sounding too good. Iniesta just released from hospital today after foood poisoning. Silva has tonsillitis but is also expected to play.Hope Fred's ankle holds up.

Villa on the bench. Looks like a 4-5-1 with Torres as the striker and Fabregas in for Iniesta.

Villa and Sergio García will not be before U.S.

Both players suffered two edema, intramuscular bleeding in the femoral quadriceps and sóleo respectively.

Óscar García | 04/06/2008 - AS

This morning they have been made, both David Villa and Sergio García, an MRI that confirmed his injuries, two edema, intramuscular bleeding in the femoral quadriceps and soleus muscle, respectively.

David Villa suffered a sharp blow yesterday in his right knee while Sergio García is in a very similar situation. The striker zaragocista also suffered a contusion in his left leg during the entrenamieto yesterday for selection in Puente Viesgo.

Concern for injury to Villa

"What concerns us most at this moment is Villa. Yesterday we had a very strong contusion in the quadriceps of the femoral right leg. This morning we have been exploring, clinically improved, bending is good, but images of the resonance I get an edema, an intramuscular hemorrhage, "according unveiled Dr. Jorge Candel. "He suffers injury in a muscle that must not create problems but we have to see developments in the coming days," he said.

Similarly, the injury he suffered yesterday Sergio García also concern within the selection. "He is under contusion and the resonance is a bleeding within the muscle sóleo. A stroke in an area of concern because there is little distensiva." "We must wait to see his evolution these days. If either evolves there will be no problems. If no improvement is problematic," he admitted.

Iniesta returns to the concentration

On the other hand, Andres Iniesta, who was admitted days ago in the Clinical Center of Madrid following a gastrointeritis, has been discharged and is now in Santander, which rejoin, immediately, to concentrate Spanish selection.

For his part, David Silva was revised by otorrino who has diagnosed with tonsillitis that does not preclude play today. Meanwhile, Fernando Torres is still touched by his right ankle and his participation in the party depend on the decision of Luis Aragones.

still 0-0

Plenty of possession for Spain but done nothing with it.

Torres and Alonso played first half, subbed at half time.
