Our cat has been run over

It went missing for 2 nights which in itself is not unusual. I went out looking for him last night and some guy said a black cat had been placed by the side of the road for 2 days and been cleared away by the council yesterday.

 

I'm not really into cats and they are the wife's really but he was a little cracker and i'm surprised at how gutted i am about it.

 

Poor thing was only 5.
