As you would probably expect in this game the ref is dishing out yellow cards like there's no tomorrow, only a matter of time before he sends someone off I reckon. However, has the ref really got a yellow line running down the back of his shirt?

In the middle of the park I suppose you're right. I just feel Celtic created the better chances and had slightly more, up until the goal of course.

Outrageous dive from the Rangers player there - as he went past the defender - flung his left leg out and booted the defender - and got the freekick

You know the way you're not meant to be happy about a serious-looking injury to a player? It's apart from that situation. Delight should be general at the sight of him banjaxing himself.

 

Should have been shown the second yellow for diving as he was being stretchered off in tears, as well, after being booked already.

Can't believe Thomson didn't get booked for that dive. Clear case of ref not wanting to send someone off, the linesman should have helped him as well mind.

I thought I heard the commentator at the end of the game say that the ref had shown him the red card as he was carried off. Fully justified if so, but it may have been wishful thinking on my part!

Nah, he was saying something like, "...who some might feel should have been shown the red card..."
