Last Sunday the elder one was attacked by (we assume) a badger, it was quite close to a known set and it ripped her leg to feck.

Vet's on Monday morning, stitches, loads of blood and buckets of tears (from me when I got the bill). She came home and immediately picked a fight with the young one who is generally the dominant dog and well up for a punch up. Since then we've had to keep them apart, it went off 3 times yesterday, my wife's a nervous wreck, they snarl at each other constantly. I think the wounded dog is trying to keep the youngster away from her leg, the youngster doesn't know why her erstwhile friend is being so aggressive PLUS she's being put in rooms to isolate them which causes resentment. I'm very experienced with dogs but don't know what the feck to make of this and wonder how we'll ever get the speaking again. I know how Rick Parry feels...
