The thing is, in the context of our recent form, i'm " content " with a draw as it means we're still in the competition.

 

The trouble is i know Rafa will change half that side for the next match.

 

Some fans will point at those players today and say they deserve to be dropped but some of those players are only starting one game in 3 or 4.

 

For the next match Rafa should swap Kuyt for Torres in attack and give the other forwards another start. Trouble is i can see him changing the whole lot.

I do blame the americans I think that they have undermind raffa and this has caused all the press speculation and this has had a Knock on effect of causing un rest and lack of confidence among the players. Let us be honest here I doubt it matters how much money raafa has or does not have for transfers who would come here not knowing who the new manager is going to be.

Where do I start? I guess we could talk about how woeful Kuyt was today or how crap Riise has been all season. How about Rafa's substitutions? How about the fact that too many players are playing roles they have no business or dare I say talent to play? There are so many things wrong right now within and on the outside of the club that someone has to take the blame. Right? Why not the amercians? Seems so many others have trashed then on this forum for the last few weeks.

 

For the record I don't see how it's their fault but if you read enough on here you'd think they were lacing up their boots and playing.

For the last month or so he's basically laid out Masch, Gerrard, Yossi, Kewell, Kuyt and Torres to constitute our first choice midfield and attack. They've been hit and miss and the times there has been major rotation (Derby and Luton - and IMO totally justified) we've been s*** because the squad isn't good enough. Our best XI cannot play every game and if the others cant step up when they're given the chance is just reflects on their own lack of quality. But they have to play at some point because we cant have players playing every single game.
