For 5 and a half years, but, why does the latest news headline on the BBC website have to say former ManU player Ronnie Wallwork, and not West Brom his current club?.

The 30-year-old former Manchester United player suffered cuts to his stomach, back and hand in the attack. He now plays for Huddersfield Town.

 

Must have been a nasty injury if he's reduced to playing for Huddersfield Town.

During a loan spell at Royal Antwerp, Wallwork was banned from football for life after an alleged attack on a referee. Another Manchester United Loanee, Danny Higginbotham, was banned for a year for his part in the attack. A Belgian court reduced Wallwork's sentence to a three year suspension, of which two years were probational. Higginbotham's ban was reduced to four months
