[Murphman]

A mate of mine 'Bally' is a fantastic striker of the ball. He plays off six but has the equivalant of the 'yips' around the greens. He's tried everything including chipping with his eyes closed but nothing works for very long. He shot a 74 gross in the medal this week, witnesses by the 18th green confirm he has a new chipping style which is pretty treditional except he plays the shot standing on ONE leg!!

 

and it works (at the moment), what the feck???

 

What is this mental block people get, darts players and golfers in particular. As somebody who occasionally gets the shanks I have much sympathy but 'one legged' chipping? '

 

...tis a strange game.
