Danny Guthrie is apparently on loan to Bolton (I didn't know) and featured prominently in today's match at West Ham.

 

He had an excellent game down the right wing and on one occasion delivered a great cross right on to the head of s***house Kevin Davies, who headed over.

 

Gavin Peacock singled Guthrie out for special mention on MOTD2.

Yeah I saw the game today and he had a stormer!!! Just hope he keeps it up, his first touch movement was first class today on the best fullback displays ive seen this season from any team.

Yes he did hit the post and had a very industrious game at RM but tucking in and being havily involved in a lot of the game...

 

..although according to the ever informed commentees on here he hit the bar and played RB and will make us 2 million quid but not be good enough

He's a good squad player for the future. Something along the lines of Danny Murphy, although I think Guthrie has the potential of becoming the better player.

 

No reason to sell unless the bids are £6-7 million.
