If you remember that season there was some work being done on the ground so we didn't play a home game for a while and as it was prior to the sky televised stuff I never got to see them until the 1st home game. My dad went to the aways and he was just going "Wait until you see these.... Just wait".

That 87/88 season is the only season so far when I never thought that we'd lose a single game. We were that good.

 

Didn't matter who we were playing (Mancs, Everton, Arsenal, Spurs) home or away, I was so confident that we'd win.
