I will start to worry about Arsenal if they are still top after playing their next 10 games

Bolton (h)

Liverpool (a)

Man Utd (a)

Reading (a)

Wigan (h)

Aston Villa (a)

Boro (a)

Chelsea (h)

Spurs (h)

Everton (a)

some very tough games there.

I think people are far too easy to dismiss Arsenal's form based on the games they've played. Spurs and West Ham away are similar games to Portsmouth away and many on here said what a great point that was.

Spurs were/are crap (not wanting to tempt mockering Gods)

West Ham's home form is nowhere near Portsmouth's home form.

Everton are crap too but they often do well at home to us. Arsenal have got their away derby out of the way with no damage caused. In fact the only points they have dropped was at Blackburn when Lehmann threw the ball into the net.

Think they deserve to be taken seriously thus far. As much as we do anyway.

Unfortunately Everton never roll over for us the way Spurs do for Arsenal. Arsenal still deserve to be top mind you, they've been very good this season.

I seem to remember a lot of people on here last season adopting the "Let's wait and see how United do after they've played a few decent teams" argument.

that's no stroll in the park. they've had a relatively kind run of fixtures allowing them to settle into a great style of play and get a bit of momentum behind them. they're good value for their table-topping.

it'll be interesting to see how their discipline holds if (or hopefully when) they start dropping points. that's always been a weak point under wenger. prolonged injuries to two or three of the likes of toure, fabregas, van persie or adebayor could derail them quite quickly.

thought the sending off was a bit harsh, particulary given the lack of card for flamini's late stamp on their defender.

Definitely. Flaminis was worse and needs to be looked at post-match.
