The 15 year old assaulted by a 'dad'

Some of you will recall the brawl at a tournament where one of my 15 year old players got himself into a scrap with the opponents which resulted in a 35 year old running onto the pitch and repeatedly punching him in the face.

I just received a call from The Police who informed me (thinking I was the accused the incompetent feckers) that the DPP are not proceeding with the prosecution because.

'He punched two of the opponents and started the fight'.

I pointed out that they too were 15 years old and that their team had retaliated en masse which was wrong yet understandable BUT they are all kids NOT adults. This thug is a fully grown man and he has assaulted a minor.

'Yes but your lad is 6'2" tall (which he f*cking well isn't by the way, not that that is relevant anyway) and is bigger than average for his age'.

So by that reckoning you can shag a 12 year old and not get nicked because she looks older? Or you can punch somebody because they look like an adult?

No wonder people are getting so pissed off with the criminal system in this fecking country.
