Setanta are repeating the game at midnight on Setanta Sports 2, so Sky won't (can't) show it.

that game wasn't on setanta in the UK, just ireland. totally different tv rights package.

 

Only one cable/satellite channel can own the initial rights to a game to air in the UK. That's why sky dont get the highlights til after setanta have had what they paid for in terms of live + repeats.assume they can show goals in UK at some point.

MOTD have the "free to air" rights, allowing them to show all saturday games action on sat night, and sun games on sun night. totally different scenario to the two competing cable/satellite channels.
