Scarborough FC are no more

[Gilps]

Club's been wound up

Always very sad when something like this happens.

[Gunga Din]

never nice to see that happen. i hope the fans get something sorted

[R A Softlad]

Shame that. Dunno how bad I'd feel if it was LFC.

[Tones]

Really is sad to hear this happening. Unbelievale that it is allowed to happen with so much money in the game these days.

[Duncan Disorderly]

I think its pathetic that this sort of thing is allowed to happen along with the "oh dear, isn`t that terrible" responses.

Some person or people should set up a commission of some sort to investigate ways in which the vast sums of money going to the top echelons in the game can; and should; be filtered down to the grass roots.

Not only is it important for the stability of the game as a whole and for nurturing talent, it is also vital for the local fans and communities.

It doesn't stop some small clunbs being run into the ground as a result of incompetent and/or corrupt stewardship though does it?

Well said. Sadly, after reading some of the responses on here the last few days regarding players' wages and season ticket prices, I don't think your sensible suggestion will get off the ground.

[Guest Ant]

Well someone has to say it

Be funny if that was Manchester United
