Heard a good one on the way back today from Athens.

Any bitter bluenose giving you stick at work or school, ask them to nip home and bring back all their tickets stubs from finals in the last 20 years to compare with your own.

Doubt they will want to continue the conversation much from that point.

i was working in a womans house today and she just said, "ha ha, ac milan" she was amanc fan, i told her to come back to me when they got into mroe than 2 finals in over 100 years of existance, she had no answer to that, thank you very much

The other day I saw a documentary on "the fifth Beatle", Pete Best. An awful program apparently produced by Best himself. Anyway, Bill Kenwright was interviewed and the interview took place in front of the Everton 'trophy cabinet', I believe, a very sad looking glass cupboard with small pots in it. I had to laugh.

 

To compensate for this, I would think, Gerry Marsden had a Liverpool top on, but other than these, football or either team were not mentioned.
