Have i just come out of a coma for the last few years? I know it's the New Wembley but it's still the FA Cup. What happened to all the games at Cardiff. Aren't they in the history books. Has everyone forgotten them like they did pre-Premiership?

 

Call me paranoid, call me biased, but last year was the best FA Cup Final of my lifetime. And not a snippet of it on the Beeb.

 

I haven't got Sky but have they done the same thing? Or did they remember what day it is?

Hating this w***fest about this being a historic day for english football and that b******s. It's just a new stadium ffs. Cardiff saw a couple of cracking finals (FA and league cup)

Cardiff has been expunged from the record books now that Womberley is back.

I miss Cardiff already. It has that intimate feel and the acoustics are fantastic.

The problem with the new stadium atmosphere is that you had two poor sets of fans. If we'd been there it would have been better.

 

The original post was about us being airbrushed. We are England's most successful team domestically and abroad yet the press would have you think that the Munsters, Arsenal and Chelsea are all more successful. They even make out these minnows have done anything in Europe.

 

Get used to it, it's always been the same. We aren't an establishment Club. We're not English, we're Scouse. Who cares what they say?

Caught the last few minutes and it was embarrassing. Linekers 'joke' about Mourinho's dog and Mourinho's Drog.......JAYSUS!

yesterday's match was as much about the 'rebirth' of the national football stadium, as about the fa cup. was it that surprising that the bbc chose to focus on the history of wembley for its first major match more than the competition being hosted there?

Exactly. This is just seeing problems where there are none.

 

We featured prominently in the Millennium Stadium montages, as you'd expect. Yesterday was about Wembley, they were never going to show the Cardiff final highlights.

Went to the old Wembly in the early 80's. Norn Iron played Engerland in the Euro Champship - the locals loved us as they felt duty bound to throw all their loose change in our direction.

 

We were beat 4 -0.

 

Hope the new stadium has the same facilities.
