galés rojo Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Been watching the UEFA under17 tournement over the past week or so and Victor Moses has looked sensational, he's fast, skillful and a good finisher and can play as an attacking midfielder and striker. You can see him in action later today when England take on Spain in the Final(on eurosport). Danny Rose has also impressed . Bojan Krcic has been quite dissapointing so far for Spain although he scored in the semi. Toni Kroos(Germany) and Hazard(Belgium) have also looked good.
Gunga Din Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Moses is very highly related by the people at Crystal Palace. i had heard that Arsenal had been sniffing around. he looked decent for the U17's
muleskinner Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Krcic needs to do some serious growing if he is to make it from the reports I have read. It seems as if he is being bossed by defenders too easily.
Morgul Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Just to clarify; the final is played tomorrow at 16.45
galés rojo Posted May 12, 2007 Author Posted May 12, 2007 Just to clarify; the final is played tomorrow at 16.45 Yeah sorry bout that.
Maldini Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 England lost 1-0, Bojan scored again. The difference between Spain and England throughout the tournament has been pretty stark, Spain are great to watch, they play great football and move the ball well, every one of them is technically fantastic. England have two or three technical players, a load of workers and the obligatory "ball-playing centre-half" who can't defend that every England youth team seems to have. Moses is class by the way, he was offered all sorts of money to leave Palace at 14 by Chelsea, Arsenal and the Mancs but turned them down.

Bojan didn't have the best of tournaments but scored in the semi and the final so he seems to score important goals. Read a bit about Moses seems quite sensible staying at Palace etc. The final itself was a bit of a let down, both teams have played better earlier in the competition and both looked scared of losing it for much of the match. Rose is better when used out wide and despite the hype i'm not really convinced by Porrit. Arsenal fans have quite high hopes for Lansbury too.
Hassony Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Read a bit about Moses seems quite sensible staying at Palace etc.isn't that what Cherno Simba did?
R A Softlad Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 No he was at Millwall, a place I'd whole heartedly recommend going as a young black or asian player.
