Firmly in the dog house.

The basic background is that I'm trying to sell my flat. Just putting it on the market - I've painted the f*****. It was almost finished Tuesday night but there was still a bit to do.

The following chain of events occurred yesterday...

1. I rang the estate agent to book him in to do the floor planning and photos - coming round Friday evening.

2. A mate emails me and says he's in London and do I fancy meeting for a pint. I tell him I'm playing football 8-9 but I'll come for a pint with him at 9:30 if he can be arsed to come out West. He doesn't reply to my mail so I assume he's not coming.

3. My football match is rearranged to a 9pm kick off. I agree to play with a view to being home at 10:15pm

4. The estate agent rings me to tell me he wants to bring a couple of viewings round, including 1 Thursday night.

5. I get home, finish the painting and get ready to go out to play football. The flat is a tip.

6. My mate rings me to tell me he's 5 minutes away.

7. I cancel football and go to the pub with my mate.

8. The missus, 6 months pregnant is left to clean and tidy the flat.

9. I get home at 1:15. She is still cleaning and tidying. H

10. She is also really not happy. Finish off at about 1:30am.

11. The estate agent rings this morning and cancels tonight's viewing.

12. Wife wants me dead.
