Paul B Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Picked it up yesterday and have spent all day reading it. It's an American's take on football fan-dom and its associated hooliganism in England and abroad (perpetrated by English fans). If the second chapter is true and not just a hysterical reaction to his first exposure to football and its fans, then the Man Utd fans have absolutely no rights to sing their evil little ditties about Hysel and the resultant disaster. If what he says and experienced is true, then they must share some of the blame. I suggest anyone interested in this period of English history reads it.
