Ronaldo's 2/3 years more advanced in his career and has now come through a test of adapatation which has certainly imporved him immensly.

 

IMO Messi arguably has more talent/potential.

this season ronaldo, just as last season gerrard was probably the best player in europe, Messi in the long term is the only one that can potentially come close to maradona and pele if he gets over his injury problems
