But, I am incredibly happy we have got these two guys on board, yes I was dissapointed with the Dubai thing but to be totally honest I like what these guys are doing along with their sons...

 

They truly are doing the right things, and saying them as well, I feel confident that they have the club in their hands and I for one believe the new stadium will be the epitome of what we will achieve under them...

 

Maybe abit premature, perhaps we should judge them during the Summer Transfer window, but it doesn't matter, since day one they have been there and have been totally re-assuring and I for one am glad we have these guys...

We rarely heard from David Moores and I'm not saying we should draw a comparison between the two all of the time. It's just that we shouldn't really hear much from them, we should over time see the effects on the pitch, in the stadium etc.

 

It still is far too early to make any judgement on this, we have to trust that the club is in safe hands.

It's all talk at the moment (granted they're making the right noises). Let's see what they do first. I know as much about these guys as I did about DIC, Steve Morgan, Kraft etc. - i.e. f*** all. I've always trusted David Moores and co to make the right decision and time will tell if they have or not.

At this early stage I already think we are as lucky to have Gillette and Hicks owning us as they are to be with us. I imagined them sitting there today listening to us all singing Rafas name dreaming of us singing their names.

 

They are re-assessing the stadium design because it wasn't good enough. In Gillettes words today, we want a stadium at least as good as anything in the Prem and with the existing designs it wasn't. Thats a good start for new owners.

Their apparent attitude, which is all we have to go on, seems perfect. Of course the proof of the pudding will be in the extent to which Rafa is backed this summer. I like Hicks' quote where he said funding transfers would be 'player specific' and if the right man couldn't be landed, that they wouldn't just spend the money, for the sake of it, on 'a bunch of crummy players'.
