Anyone else applied/applying? Just applied myself for a few tickets for me and two mates, wondering if anyone knows if you'll be able to transfer tickets back to UEFA in the case of not being able to go or something?

 

Bet I don't get any though, did anyone here go to the World Cup?

Dunno yet! Oh, Switzerland for two games, purely as we want to do a Basle/Zurich tour, so we're hoping to get a camper van and drive between the two cities for various games, applied for 5 group games and two quarters.

I have applied for the England group follow the team x 2

 

But when you see how small all the stadiums are there is almost no chance.

 

How can they have stadiums of 30k as the norm.

Thought they would have learnt after world cup joke stadium sizes.

 

But I hope they do the fan zone things as they were fab esp in frankfurt by the river.

Yeah, we're going to go over anyway even if we can't get the live football. I was astonished at the size of the stadia, really small apart from Basle, which is still only 40K.

I applied for the Quarter Final in Basel. If it's anything like WM2006 then I won't stand a chance of getting 'official' tickets.

That reminds me of the ticket lottery for the World Cup 2006.

 

In December 2005, one of my colleagues told me very proudly: "I've got tickets for the semi-final ... Belgium versus Germany!" [There was some kind of note; B-D]
