Was thinking the same when I read this this morning. How Rooney is doubtful for England, but will make a miraculous recovery for United's next games.

 

These type of managerial decisions/trickery/intervention, wins titles as it keeps players free from injury.

Looks like you're spot on. Mclaren has said Rooney isnt playing and Giggs doesnt even make the bench for tonight.
