LCD TV for sub £1000?

Can anyone suggest a good one for under £1000?

 

I kinda like the Samsungs as I prefer the black to the silver. Are the LG any good? 32" or 37" inch would do nicely.

 

Are the Sony Bravias as good as the adverts make them look?

 

Come on, I know most of you high flyers will have one already - lend me your expertise please.
