Politicians in power in the UK at present

Are they really as bad as they seem? Or is it that investigative journalism and inventions like the Internet make their mistakes, double dealing and outright lies more visible or is it that freedom is at the stage where any and all targets are viable for the purposes of critism?

The country at this moment in time seems to have cocked up pretty much everything it's possible to c**k up from Outrageous (and worse badly spent) tax, health care, pensions, unemployment, housing, managing the green belt, funding services, immigration, the environment, the education systems, the travel network and its infrastructure, the war on iraq and subsequent international relationships and I'm sure you can add another couple of hundred mistakes and bodgings by this (seemingly) incompetant Government.

Or aren't they as bad as all that? Have they put some good things into place? Have they delivered on any of their promises?
