New Years Day 2005, Alsonso gets done by Lampard. :hmm:

CL Semi-Final, Alonso is booked for a "foul" and suspended from 2nd leg. :hmm:

Today, receives a knee to the face. :hmm:

I thought Essien punched him as well early in the first half right infront of the ref who did nothing apart from point a finger at him.

Don't remember that incident, will keep an eye out if they show it on motd (watched it on the telly as well).

He does seem to come in for extra abuse against them though.

They probably wont show it, but I've got it taped ;)

Nah the normal sellers were touting their wares pre match in the oakie.

If I can hold of one, do you want it ?

I was thinking the same thing. They are a bunch of snides who share around the fouling to minimise red cards. But you need to do better than that to put Xabi off in his current form.

Very disappointed with Finnan when he put the ball out for that cheat Robben.

Dogbreaths a dirty cvnt, don't know how he escaped a booking.

Maybe that's why Rafa's looking to offload him in the summer, as he's too lightweight for the Premiership.

To be fair, if I was an opposing manager, I would target Xabi, if he gets space and time, he can pass you to death.

Thing is, such is the man's class that even if he is pass rushed* by two or three, he'll draw them in use some skill and find a red shirt.

*sorry, in practice for the next MLS season

So was I, but in fairness he had probably seen what replays showed to be a nasty fall on his ankle and thought he broke it.
