One of the lads walking up to the entrance to the Parc des Princes that night had a banner saying "No, LFC doesn't stand for Laurie f***ing Cunningham".

I didn't know he played for them. I just thought he played for WBA. Looked decent as did that number 3

[John am Rhein]

And what a feast of thrilling end to end attacking football it was!

you have grown up much since then have you

[Nebraska Red]

i was drunk beyond belief the night before the match and had a terrible hangover that only seemed to go after Barney Rubble's goal.

as the goal goes in, you can see a huge LFC banner draped over an exit, that was mine , my brothers and the 2 other lads we went with.

we stayed for the week in a small hotel in the Pigalle district, so many whores, so little time.

[Jim Price]

Tonight they've got us against Watford in 1986, Paul Walsh has just equalised. Rambo playing sweeper. Just heard "You're not singing anymore", and "Are you watching Manchester". RTK indeed.

[Christine]

I bet Anny Road would like to see Xabi in short shorts like that....

[Figaro]

Del Bosque letting Barney Rubble through to score was worth the entrance fee alone

Always wondered wether Barney is the only player to score 2 winning goals in the European Cup final?
