Got a bad cold so after the Sky interview I went back home, stopping by at the pharmacy to get some medicine, the lady behind the counter asked if I'd be driving at any point today, I said no, so she suggested some extra strong stuff and some strepsils but warned that it may make me drowsy.

 

Anyway, have the medicine and I'm sat on the sofa and start nodding off with the telly on.

 

The next thing I'm woken from my doze by the shout of 'FAT CHRIS'

 

A bit startled, and wondering who the f*** was said it, then coming to my senses look at the telly and there's these two f***nuts and a chubby fella in glasses with a goatee advertising gamestation.

 

'THANK YOU FAT CHRIS'

 

they shouted as the ad finished.

 

Yes, FAT CHRIS, a fella who looks not unlike myself and with the same name as me is the central character in a christmas tv ad campaign.

 

I feel like Homer Simpson in that episode where he finds his likeness on a Japanese soapbox

this wasn't the ad i saw though.
