A little help needed

There is a job coming up at my work that I am interested in pursuing the only thing is is that I have to apply in writing and its been nigh on 15 years since I wrote a letter begging for a job .

 

Any ideas would be appreciated.

 

Going to work just now so will look in later on tonight, so I am not being ignorant not replying.

 

Is it better to be short and sweet or go for the full monty and try bulls***???

 

It would be a big change if I did get it and would get me off the shop floor and into an office which at my bad age would not be a good thing.
