Cheap accomodation in London

[Guest Anders Honoré]

A friend of mine is coming to London and is looking for a cheap place to stay. Criteria are basically: In the centre and as cheap as possible.

Anyone know a good place to recommend?

She's a student, btw, if that can offer any benefits.
