Our run up to the new year.....

Not bad, not bad at all. If we can put a good run together, we could be right back in the mix come the New Year. If any can be arsed to put the mancs/chelsea's fixtures in, would make good reading.

Liverpool v Reading - Barclays Premiership

Arsenal v Liverpool - Barclays Premiership

Middlesbrough v Liverpool - Barclays Premiership

Liverpool v Man City - Barclays Premiership

Liverpool v Portsmouth - Barclays Premiership

Wigan v Liverpool - Barclays Premiership

Liverpool v Fulham - Barclays Premiership

Charlton v Liverpool - Barclays Premiership

if we're within five or six points of top, be it mancs, chelsea or whoever, by around mid-january, i can see us having a real tilt at the title this season.

definitely need to get the bloody away form sorted out though.

Considering we have had such a s*** start to the season, its wierd that you can look at that list and think we could still have a small chance

if we can hold our nerve and pick up a point at the a*** next week, therefore keeping our momentum and confidence, I genuinely think we can (neh should) win 5 or 6 of the next 7 games. And as can be seen from Arsenal and Chelsea today, other teams can and will drop points this season. All ifs and buts as usual, but we can get ourselves right back in this if we play our cards right......

Utds fixtures up to new year.....

Blackburn v Man Utd

Sheff Utd v Man Utd

Man Utd v Chelsea

Man Utd v Everton

Middlesbrough v Man Utd

Man Utd v Man City

West Ham v Man Utd

Aston Villa v Man Utd

Man Utd v Wigan

Man Utd v Reading

Was just saying this in another thread, didn't see this one.

Our next 2 league games away at Arsenal and Boro could be a springboard. Win those and we'd have 2 relatively easy home games. In that time the clubs above us could all drop a few points.

Get to New Year only 5 or 6 points off the top and we've as good a chance as anybody.

I know every game is just 3 points but a win at Arsenal on Sunday could really kick us off onto something special.

we are far from out of this. we need to get a run together, if we can get through those games with 26 points i'd be delighted, and it would give us a real chance

It would indeed, and that would be great. One game at a time, like.

We need to forget about the fixture lists and ignore any good/bad run of fixtures we may have. One game as a time, I think we can get something out of the Arsenal game but even if we don?t we?re not out of it.

I?d be delighted if come the New Year we?re about five or six points behind the leaders.
