Was involved in a crash on Wednesday..

and am in agony, and have been ever since..

Was on my motorbike on the knowsley expressway heading toward the roundabout that leads onto Speke Boulevard... it was rush hour so there were two lanes of slow moving traffic in a bit of a queue... I was doing about 30 mph in the left hand lane and the left was moving quicker than the right hand lane... next thing I know, a car in the right hand lane comes across into the left and takes me out! I end up hitting the deck.. he stops... and I get up with a bit of a sore back. he keeps saying he didn't see me and was apologising. We exchanged details...

The thing that f***ed me right off was that no f***** stopped to act as a witness... it was a traffic jam and every f***** just drove round us at 10mph having a good f***ing gawp.

The AA came out and picked me up two hours later... The bike looks like its a write off, its a month old and is a 56 plate.... gutted. I ended up in Fazakerley hospital on Wednesday after I got home as the wife is a nurse and she dragged me down there... my back at this point was killing me, so the doc had a look at me and took a urine sample... turned out I had blood in my piss, so they kept me in for the rest of the day.. they said its a bruised kidney.... They let me out on the evening and I have been bed ridden ever since. Which is dull as f***... Insurance are underway with the claim.. they are sending me compensation forms etc... I have a doctors appointment this afternoon as my whole body is gradually aching more and more..

Two things that f***ed me off most though was that noone stopped to see if I was okay and the other thing was the guy who hit me was a Manc... fair do's that he stopped though... but in a traffic jam its not wise to attempt a hit and run though.. ;)

oh yeah and a big f*** you to Ikeas home delivery.... turns out they aren't allowed to carry delivered goods up stairs, so now me and the pregnant wife have a king size bed and mattress in the living room.... it will look like a scene from Willy Wonka tonight.
