Thing is, he didn't actually have much choice with the left side and striker options limited, I thought there was a fair chance of this line up

Someone told me PaddyPower was offering a special at the weekend: Rafa to pick an unchanged line-up before Xmas at 33/1! Gutted

 

I am actually slightly bothered by it. Like he didn't want to hit 100, like he was bothered by the press or fans reaction. And in light of stories surrounding White & Gerrard this week....

 

He probably would have picked this team whether it was the 5th or 100th time. Or I'd like to think so. Evans used to drive me insane with his subs, always only ever taking off the leftback. I'm absolutely convinced that one time he actually listened to the fans at the ground and took someone else off. For me it was the start of the slope.

 

Yes, I want unchanged teams. But I also don't want Rafa to be influenced by the likes of the press, players, (ex)directors or me - I'm an idiot. Do what you want Rafa.
