Saw it with my kids yesterday and it was excellent. A bit scary for the youngest (she's 3 1/2) in places and probably deserving its PG rating for that, but she wasn't too phased by it all.

The animation is nowhere approaching reality and the male cows with udders might offend the ultra-realists who can't deal with that level of suspension of disbelief, but for a kid's movie it was a definite 6/10. If you have youngsters its well worth a visit to the cinema. Dads mustn't expect to escape unmoved when they play Peter Gabriel's Father, Son over a particularly poignant bit.
