Police investigate bar shooting

 

Police have cordoned off part of Liverpool city centre after reports that shots were fired outside a bar.

 

An area around Hanover Street has been closed off and a full search is due to take place.

 

Merseyside police said officers were called to O'Neills in the early hours of the morning after two doormen were reportedly shot at outside.

 

No-one was hurt and police have urged anyone who witnessed the shooting to step forward.
