1, Lorries overtaking lorries.

 

It takes about an hour and a quarter for one lorry to overtake another and the entire middle lane has to slow down while they do it. The entire motorway haulage system should be replaced by an un-manned magnetic train network or massive balloons or something.

 

2, Radio alerts for traffic news.

 

A great invention, automatically cutting into the programme your listening to to tell you about a traffic hazard or jam - ruined by hyperactive local DJ's using the service as a sly way to gate-crash their way into my car to advertise whats coming up in their bum-hole little programme or worse, starting a crappy little banter session with the taffic-report-girl instead of letting her get on with the important job of broadcasting the traffic updates.

 

3, having to go to work by motorway in the first place.

 

By the time i get home i am so sweaty and stiff that I might as well just get out of the car and run the 38 miles home.
