Liverpool youngster set for Alex

The 20-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Liverpool, and manager Rafael Benitez is prepared to let him leave the Merseyside club in a loan deal.

 

Centre-half O?Donnell is poised to sign a six-month deal with the League One side, and could make his debut against Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday evening.

Baggies snap up striker Nardiello

West Brom have signed teenage striker Michael Nardiello after the former Liverpool trainee impressed on trial.

Nardiello, 17, spent two weeks with the relegated club ahead of their Coca-Cola Championship promotion tilt.

 

Albion boss Bryan Robson told the club's website: "He will compete with our two other young strikers, Rob Elvins and Stuart Nicholson."

 

Robson confirmed Nardiello will continue his development with the academy and reserve sides.

O'Donnell gone to Crewe

 

Crewe have agreed a deal with Liverpool for defender Daniel O'Donnell and he becomes the Railwaymens 6th signing.

 

Crewe and Liverpool have finally agreed a deal that will see defender Daniel O'Donnell sign a three-year deal.

 

The fee is undisclosed but is believed to be in the region of £100k with a sell on clause.
