Maldini Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 No Motown... and like it or not, no Metallica, without them we wouldn't have the likes of Linkin Park and all that other nu-metal nonsense. The only problem I have with that list is that for the most part, bar a couple of token appearances it only really recognises critically acclaimed music. Most of the music sold these days is pop and owes more to the motown system and is a way the music released by them than pretty much everything on that list.
