  1. Ooops yeah just seen when he signed for chelsea
  2. He worked with Moses and Borini as well to be fair, I guess a lot comes down to how the players adapt to us once here.
  3. s*** grammar and being a smart a*** it seems
  4. Your on your phone aren't you?
  5. See I think if he stays it may pan out like when Hendo dug his heels and he'd make the 25. Still think he'll end up going mind
  6. I'm all for being honest with the lad in regards to his playing time in the coming season but I'd stop short of not giving him a pre season. For whatever reason he may still be with us next season and he wouldn't be match fit, which could backfire one us if we get a couple of early injuries to our strikers.
  7. That's my take on it, had Suarez stayed I think we would have been there or thereabouts for the title again. As things stand though I think we will struggle to reach 84 points again. It's now the club needs to show it's ambition to at the very least equal last season, if not kick on. We already failed to kick on from winning the CL nearly 10 years ago (albeit for different reasons), to do so again would be criminal.
  8. Just touched down in Spain... he may have had one or two along the way http://youtu.be/E9oc356QIZI
  9. Well yes but if we're back to winning the league & CL regularly their pull on our players will be far less of a factor, and when it is we'll be in a far stronger position to attract the very top players as replacements.
  10. That will be mainly be the case until we start winning regularly once again, look at arsenal, they've qualified for the last 15 or so CL campaigns and they inevitably end up selling their best players
  11. This. It's all very well saying we need to spread Suarez's goals / assists throughout the team and as longs as Sturridge is fit that will work. We do however need a striker capable of scoring 20+ goals in case of Sturridge getting injured at some point in the season, which let's face it is highly likely.
  12. Sanchez officially gone to arsenal http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28177987
  13. no mate, fifa have already stated he can have a medical & sign for another club during his ban
  14. I seem to remember them claiming Bale cost less than what they actually paid, mind you with all the various figures flying around I suppose it's anyones guess who's telling the truth
  15. Barca will be briefing the media wanting to make out they've underpaid on the clause, them and Real are always doing that.
  16. After the last day panic buy of Andy Carroll when Torres left I can't see FSG not including a timeframe into the clause.
  17. I'd hope we wouldn't let them c**** factor in the suspension at all... pay our price or f*** off
  18. I'm pretty sure after the Torres/Carroll debacle we would have, unless Ayre drew up the paperwork down the boozer in which case we'll probably end up paying barca to take Suarez off our hands
  19. I assume any clause will have a date by which it needs to be activated before it becomes null until the next window, maybe even next summer window as getting a replacement in January is near on impossible.
  20. Knowing John W Henry he will make it a point of principal that us and us alone will dictate if and how Suarez leaves, much like last summer with the joke offer from Arsenal. Good article from Bascombe http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/10937398/Luis-Suarez-has-messed-Liverpool-around-once-too-often-but-still-his-agents-will-look-to-get-Barcelona-cut-price-deal.html
  21. You shouldn't be posting articles quoting that rag mate
  22. Luis Suarez: Barcelona still want to sign banned Uruguay striker Barcelona remain keen on signing Uruguay's Luis Suarez despite his four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini. The Liverpool striker, 27, cannot take part in any football-related activity until the end of October. Suarez bit the player during Uruguay's 1-0 win over Italy that saw them qualify for the World Cup last 16. It is understood the La Liga club, who already have Neymar and Lionel Messi, would consider signing Suarez if they can get him at the right price. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28059782 c**** think they can get him on the cheap now judging by that last sentence.... f*** em!
  23. #LFC have today agreed a deal in principle with Bayer Leverkusen for Emre Can, subject to completion of documentation https://twitter.com/LFC
  24. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfer-news-live-yevhen-3095862#.UuvQEhB_s1L From Maddock: The rumours are growing ever stronger about a medical booked for 6pm at Melwood, Liverpool's training ground, but not entirely sure it could be for Konoplyanka if that is the case. Contrary to information earlier in the day, it seems he is NOT at a training camp in Spain after all, but in Kiev, merely applying for a visa to allow him to play for his club Dnipro in their Europa League tie with Spurs. If he were to travel from there to England for a medical, then if with a favourable tailwind, he wouldn't land until about 9.30pm...and that's assuming the plane's engines are revving as we speak. But do not lose all hope. Our information suggests that the Liverpool party led by Ian Ayre which is currently camped in Ukraine desperately trying to thrash out a deal, includes a medical man, who if required will give the player a once over to offer some sort of medical. Here's the thing though. NO deal has been agreed. And none is likely in the very near future. Meaning if they are to sign the winger, then it will be very late indeed.
