We are Liverpool. We have money and have automatically qualified for the CL and we deserve to be shopping at the top end of the market. You can be sure Rodgers would love two established player like these two in his team and it's clear for any footballer with a brain, that we are going places fast.

Reus is better than Sanchez in my opinion and I'd make him our number one target and make Hummels No.2 target. We have 75m to spend and these two would dramatically improve any team. I have a feeling we will go down the route of signing another emerging player and Firmino or Kovacivic from Inter would be my bet. Both have massive potential.

A like Ayala and whenever he stepped up he has looked composed and he has good pace and is 6"3 and is a decent enough ball players. He was excellent for the reserves last year and seems to have good leadership qualities. I might be wrong but I think he has serious potential and I would loan him out to a bottom half club or even a decent Championship side and see how he does. If we let him go to Spain I dont think it will be long before he ends up at one of the bigger clubs. I hope Roy goes for quality over quantity if he dips into the market. He will have to replace alot of outgoing players but I hope he buys in star players and tries at least to keep us competitive. Gerrard, Masch and Torres will all have to be replaced in the coming windows and there is no doubt about that. Ozil, Diarra and Higuain should be the kind of players we should be looking at getting in as possible replacement. I fear that we will see very little of that money and will end up with Doyle, Parker and Nzogbia for example. Personally I wouldn't let Roy sign anybody because he wont be here very long hopefully. We have around 13/14 top players now and to move on we needed the owners to buy us an Ozil and a good striker and it would of given the squad a lift. I hope we dont go down the road of signing average squad players because the will only end up being the deadwood for the next manager to move on.

I like Toulanan from Lyon. 26 and can play in midfield and defence and is a good size. Very clever player and I expect one of the bigger clubs to snap him up this summer. Bilbao have plenty of good players in their squad who we could go for too. All about the money though and whether we get investment in. Think it will drag on past this summer myself and we will sell the likes of Riera and Babel to buy. Hope i'm wrong!

If fourth is gone then I would play, Mavinga, Ayala, Amoo, Pacheco. Imagine Fergie's face!

Poor kid has had no luck with injuries. Hope he is fit for pre season and can push for a place in the squad again.

I hope Babel goes but I dont want Jones here. He likes to party too much and is back late from International duty alot and wont last long here if he joins. A swap fpr Turan would be good

I think we will do well to finish in the top four this year and we are weaker than last year and couldn't win it then. Rafa has messed up the last two summers in the transfer market and it is costing us now. Lisandro Lopez should have been signed last year instead of Keane imo and he should have used the money he spent on Dossena and Riera to get a top wide player. Insua had already played in the first team when Dossena arrived and Arbeloa, Carra and Agger could all have covered if Aurelio and Insua were out. This year he replaced Alonso with a player who is not available until November and we are struggling in midfield because of it. I love Rafa but he has only signed one quality attacker in five years here and that is Torres and that is what is costing us.

Pacheco oozes class. It's only a matter of time before he gets in the first team squad.

Babel has showed signs lately that he will convince Rafa to keep him, but I fear he will go back to his old self soon. I hope i'm wrong on that. Lucas always just needed a run of games and confidence. He still needs to express himself more and I think he has the ability to do this but Rafa is telling him to keep it simple. Good to see both doing well though and long may it continue.

Steven Taylor from Newcastle would be a good shout as a defensive signing imo. He is young and is all heart and can cover at right back too and is always a danger in the opposition box. Ok he has looked poor is recent seasons but who hasn't at Newcastle. When he first broke through he was excellent and I remember us being linked then. On his day he is very good and with better players around him and in a more organised system, I think he would be a good signing. He is a bit like Terry and Carra in how he throws himself trying to block and Rafa is the man to get the best out of him. He is a leader too and we could get him cheaper than Turner or Shawcross.

Heinze must be a runner alright with Sami gone and Skrtel and Aurelio out short term. If he can find the form that made him player of the year for the Mancs again, then he is worth a punt. If he joins and makes rash tackles and is all over the place it will be a nightmare and he will cost us points.
