Fist off. Bascombe is an utter c***, makes my f***ing skin crawl Yeah f***ing right he is. Every man and his dog knows the decrepit old f***** wants out.
-
Think he may well go now.But i do think he's a good player, and, if given the same backing both Kuyt and Keane were afforded might go on a prove himself for us. But if he does go, i want someone with pace and a bit of athleticism brought in. Someone like Zhirkov would be a dream signing imo. No clue what he'd cost though.
-
Play Kuyt at right-back. I can picture it now. "The Dynaminc Dastardly Dutch Duo" Just saying Babel deserves a chance. A real one, the same one Dirk was afforded when he was "unpredictable", but predictable in giving the ball away whenever he touched it. Same goes for Robbie Keane. Why was he given Rafa's full backing? Babel had a great game going back to Marseille away, then hardly featured at all. He's played well again yesterday, i think its counter-productive to then bench him again till the next meaningless game comes along.

I hope you feel embarrassment reading back over your posts today. I know i would.I mean, moaning about Pennant being left out? Jesus wept, if that isn't looking for something to moan and whine and bitch about i don't know what is.

Another "nice guy" signing by Rafa. Why can't he sign a few c**** from time to time? Babel will come good if given a fair chance to. Giving him a start once every 6 games just isn't enough. And by all accounts i think he did all he could yesterday to p[lay himself into the side, but we all know that's not how Rafa does things. Riera left, Babel right please, just give it a go Rafa, and show some faith in the lad.
-
Degen for me. Lets give him a try in the firt team squad.
-
Yeah, your a brat. One turgid half of football and your crying away like a little girl. Grow up.
-
He'll come good given the chance. Aurelio is due an injury soon. But tbh, Insua i think is as ready now as he will ever be. So i could easily see Rafa flogging Dossena back to Italy. He's a good player, but sometimes it just doesn't work out, plain to see the lad has no confidence atm, needs an arm round him i'd say.
-
You were championing him to start before the game then i take it? Fact is, we were bad, we are better than that, as we showed in the second half. Its was a bad f***ing day, get over it, and be pleased it came in the Carling f***ing Cup. Spoiled brats some of ye.

1. Dossena 2. Degen 3. Diego

Like i said, 'relatively' speaking, it is.

We are lacking in some key areas. We've no-one apart from Kuyt for the right wing as it seems Rafa is too scared to give Babel a go there. No-one up front that aside form Torres that we can rely on to put an easy chance away. I'm willing to give Dossena time as i think he has the ingredient at least to make a good full-back, but then you look at who else we have in that postion and its someone that will be lucky to play 30 games. Not ideal. Arbeloa for me is no more than a squad player at best. A very useful one i'll add, can play LB and RB. But not top quality. So.....when it comes to strengthening. We need better at RW, RB and until Dossena does enough to convince he can make that position his own, we need better at LB too. Good thing about full-backs is that, relatively speaking, a cheap enough position to fill.

So has Murphman admitted to being a homophobe yet?
-
Offer Shweinsteiger a contract. Sell Keane to Spurs if they are interested, and use that money to make a move for Arshavin.
-
In fairness to the linesman who gave the pen, my first reaction was to say Peno too. Slo-mo and camera angle can be very misleading.
-
thats what comes with a £20m price tag. Pressure. Lots of it.
-
Hate to disappoint, but we only drew.
-
What the f*** did we pay £20m for? A squad player, a grafter? Have to say, Rafa' substitutions again. Just plain odd. Why not leave Riera on the pitch? Then we'd have two 'dangerous' players on the wings in Babel and Riera.
-
Gerrard the "Hero" again they'll say, despite one of his worst ever performances for us. Ref an absolute joke all game. Passing and decision making from us all night was shocking. Devoid of any confidence whatsoever. Keane? Runs his a*** into the ground hoping it will mask yet another terrible display. Doesn't want to take any responsibility on at all.
-
1. Alonso 2. The Ref . . . . . . 3. Lucas
-
Anyukov. Excellent player.
-
If he can get himself fit i think he'll prove a very decent player for us.
-
Keane on the bench for a bit is how i'd play it. No-one should be forced sit on the bench in place of a player whos just not doing anything for us right now.
-
Agree with that somewhat. And i think a lot of that rests at Robbie Keanes feet. What good is a striker that's afraid to shoot for fear he might "get it wrong"? The lad was supposed to come here so we wouldn't be so reliant on Fernando, he's failed miserably so far. And he really has no excuse. I'm seeing someone out there whos hiding, and just running around a lot to hide the fact doesn't want to take any real responsibility upon himself. "Oh, i don't want to shoot, so i'll give it to you instead"
-
Was it really? I mean, after we scored, we didn't look like doing anything at all for the entire first half. Just happy to prevent Spurs from doing anything. Which is fine and dandy, but we won't win a League playing that way. A top, top side, would have smelt blood, realised Spurs were crapping their pants and finished that game off inside the half. Instead we thumped it f***ing long. i mean, what in the f*** is that? Who does that? What team that has won the PL for the past 10 years has ever done that? Its a lesson. However, its one we haven't learned from in the past.
