Well the table would suggest that, i really don't think we are. We're very lucky the usual suspects around us have been rather lacklustre themselves. Teams will drop points, thats a given, but the manner in which we've done against Fulham and West Ham and the impotence in attack so far today doesn't inspire any confidence from me. Its too much of the same old, same old, we aren't good enough(i'd say aren't brave enough personally) going forward to win a title.

Delighted to see Insua get a start, even if the circumstances are puzzling. Dossena plays his bets game for us, well done lad, you've earned your place on the bench. Still wonder if we'll ever get to see Babel and Riera on the pitch at the same time. Looks like there's something in the story going round that Agger is injured.

He's a quality player. But, imo, but very much a niche sort of player. A luxury signing so to speak, and i just don't think we can afford that.
