  1. I only hate United, the rest are rivals
  2. The biggest shock to me is that an injury prone player is being paid 103,000 a week

    Steve Finnan

Crazy original comment, I mean its just crazy! Anyone that can say Finnan is not class after the past few seasons he had doesnt deserve comment.
  10. Have we signed Hernan Crespo?
  11. Its simple really While I do not condone booing any former player........some people think M Owen messed the club around with his contract and then left under a cloud to go to Madrid "to win trophies" D Murphy gave his all, wanted to stay, but was surplus to requirements, he was sold. Even simplier: Owen left us Murphy was sold

    Fowler

I think so too............but I fecking hope not. I just want Bellamy and Kuyt to get a run of games together in order to build up some kind of partnership.
  13. shut up commentator - t***
  14. commentators are rubbish
  15. Could someone be so kind as to send it to my e-mail address too: lisnasoolmoy@yahoo.co.uk or the e-mail in my profile - would really appreciate it. Anyone else a bit miffed at why Sky aren't showing this match? These games are usually crackers......also wondering why Im paying for skysports. Pain!
  16. The BBC should hvae just may a public show of giving the FA 20,000 pound as that's all they are going to fine anybody over this. Why couldn't they name the manager that was going to meet with the guy in the Hotel, until the Mike Newell story broke on the news and he chickened out? We don't have anything to worry about after looking at that, although I think we all went "oh s***" when the camera zoomed in on anfield, but I agree with another poster in that we were in it just because we are a big name and it was supposed to add weight to the program. Chelsea should be in trouble over this, but Im convinced they will just receive a warning or some stupid meaningless fine. The FA have no backbone. The FA have no backbone. what was I saying?: http://www.thefa.com/ASPXUtility/PANews/PA...ge.aspx?index=3 No sanction for Chelsea Copyright Press Association Ltd. Wednesday, 20 September 2006 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chelsea will not face any possible points deduction even if Panorama's claims they made an illegal approach for an England youth player are substantiated. The Blues were given a suspended three-point deduction by the Premier League following the Ashley Cole 'tapping up' case. Chelsea are currently the subject of a joint investigation by the Premier League and Football Association over claims by Leeds of illegal approaches for three academy players last season. The BBC's Panorama programme has now alleged Chelsea's director of youth football Frank Arnesen offered Middlesbrough's 15-year-old midfielder Nathan Porritt £150,000 over three years to move clubs. However, even if Chelsea are found to have breached any regulations with regard to the academy players the suspended points deduction from the Cole case will not apply. It is understood one Premier League regulation covers illegal approaches for contracted players, and a separate regulation covers approaches for academy players. Chelsea would have to be found guilty of another breach of the rule regarding contracted players for the points deduction to come into force. With regard to the Arnesen allegations, Chelsea told the BBC no industry rules had been breached. It is understood Arnesen was approached by Porritt's agent Peter Harrison rather than Chelsea making the initial inquiry. The Panorama programme said: "In a meeting with the agent Peter Harrison he [Arnesen] offers a financial inducement to one of the game's brightest prospects, Middlesbrough's England youth star Nathan Porritt. "At the meeting, also attended by undercover reporter c*** auf dem Berge, Arnesen says he is willing to offer the Teesside club's 15-year-old £150,000 spread over three years to induce him away." Porritt's agent also offers the player to Liverpool, and a club official talks positively about signing him when he is 17. Liverpool too have told the BBC they have not breached any industry rules.
  17. Fair enough, but WHEN are we going to win the league?? We have been waiting for a long, long time and money has been spent. It's not exactly too demanding to be expecting a title challenge looking at the squad Rafa has been able to assemble. We lose on Sunday, there could be serious questions about our title aspirations.
  18. Well said What a joke of a thread - you aren't a fickle bunch are you? get a grip of yourselfs ffs! Give the team and players a chance. 4games in and Alonso should be put in the reserves, all the spanish lads dropped, Zenden should no where near the team etc etc. Fickle as f**k - get a grip.

    Bolo Zenden

Laughed my a*** off at that! Lol!
  20. Exactly
  21. What about the grey away version I still have that one at home!! (what was i thinking buying it!)
  22. If Krompkamp goes then it might re-awaken the deal for Alves which was rumoured very recently. Alves/Finnan/Pennant for the right side?
  23. Agree with OP. Don't think Rafa should go to their level - alhough the onus was on the Loser (Mournhino) to congratulate the winner, so it should reflect badly on him rather than Rafa. The worst thing about it, is that it will help build this tabloid rubbish of a "fued"
  24. Really impressed with Pennant. Hopefully he will be the missing link on the right side that we have been looking for, for the past 3-4 seasons.
  25. Ablett Dicks Nigel Spackman Smicer Diao Bjornbye (sp!) David Speedie (Why Kenny, why?) Nigel Clough (except for his goals against the Mancs Heskey David James But top of the list by a country mile is McMoneyman, God I hate that f**ker! Although I don't hate Michael Owen, he did really piss me off when he left the club hanging for 2 seasons and then went and left to win all the trophies he did....(0) at the last count. Hope he rots his hamstrings off up in the sunny north west.
