  1. Not like they have history.
  2. That's a lol right there. And Sanchez is as much a Moureen player as I am the prince of Panama
  3. Eh, what, where?

    Defence

At times we defended very well, then we didn't.
  5. Yup. Ankles are made of glass to start with........
  6. I'd like it to be proven differently, but I suspect you're probably right.
  7. Phil really wouldn't have downed tools especially World Cup year, but I haven't got a problem with Jurgen getting shot of the miserable scrote. I'm just mildly surprised that we may not go out and try to get a creative player in to fill this hole, it's not like this all happened over night. Just smacks to me of boxing everything off. Disappointing.
  8. Moving pieces around a board. Really thought we'd have learnt this lesson. Still hoping.
  9. Just deja vu
  10. We are. I'm all in that boat.
  11. We're only a serious injury away to Bobby, Mane or Mo to being really screwed. Not much behind all that, a raw recruit or a Ings and Studge. As I said, not much behind the front three.
  12. The disappointing thing is, I expect nothing more to happen, maybe an out going or two. Some will moan that that is being negative, and that the club/owners are backing us, but in my eyes, we're still in that same boat, except the numbers are larger.
  13. So, we've just filled one hole up and created another. Go us. Hopefully we can get through to the end of the season in good shape. Still plenty of time until the window closes, but we're on course of where I hoped we wouldn't end up.
  14. I, think they've done the bare minimum. Admittedly, we've now gone big, but by going big, we've sold big to balance the books. Again, admittedly, it's better, but not as good as it could, and should be. If I was a teacher, and they were a student, they'd be getting a "could do better". They are solid, and steady.
  15. Sorry, don't see the correlation here. No one wants Jurgen to resign, or to go, he's the main bright light here. Questioning the owners in how far they really, and I mean, really want to take us, is the main issue here. We've gone to extremes here.
  16. Oh, we're at a much, much, much better place than where we've been for many a year, and boy am I loving the game again, but it could be better. Never take your eye off the ball.
  17. I do hope so mate, I do hope so.
  18. It's a back handed complement.
  19. Right or wrong, it's something they've been consistent of. Is it coincidental that we land Ox, Mo, Keita and VVD then recoup a wedge from Phil's sale? Time will tell what happens between now and the slamming of the window to see if any things changed. Just opinions.
  20. I agree with DH that they're doing better, seemingly, but as you say, we need at some point go beyond this ceiling of (and I'm just putting a number here) about 20 million net spend per year. The recent purchases have increased ten fold, but so have the out goings. As your point above.
  21. True. Still need to see the Phil money reinvested mind, at some point.
  22. Play fair. This is only a recent turn of events.
  23. I can live with Minge to the end of the season. In my opinion, we have now a quality center half. To get that quality center half, we have (again, in my opinion), cashed in on Phil. We've strengthened one position, and weakened another. I'm thinking, seeing as Phil, and most likely Can, have gone, we'd be targeting some one center mid to come in now, rather than a keeper. If we get nothing, from this point going forward, I'd be really disappointed. Really.
  24. Yep.
  25. Yeah, that's how I'm reading it. Plus, every day, something would have been splashed across the red tops.
