In a nutshell

It's nice. I don't want much, just for us to be going in the right direction, but quicker. Isn't that what we all want? If not, I must be on the wrong bus.

I don't know neither. But backing the boss in the transfer market is normally a good barometer. You may now blind me with science to prove they have, but not that far down, scratch the surface, and you will see we haven't moved on much for decades. When we seem to have turned this corner, we drive straight forward into the hedge.

I haven't got a problem with the players brought in tonight. They were good enough to beat WBA on their day. But, they all reverted type, on the same day. Just underlines what surgery is still required.

There is no rymn or reason. Not the first time neither.

Simple really. We need to spend serious cash to strengthen the squad. Serious cash, that we may not be able to recoup most of it. We still need the 2/3 players to make the difference. Forget the big money we paid for VVD, as we recouped even bigger money for Phil. We have no idea what budget Klopp is told he has. But we do know, he hasn't an enormous war chest, as every season since they've been our owners, we've managed to get back most of what we've spent. This year, the numbers have been bigger, but the out come is the same. We're still the same keeper, midfielder, striker missing since Rafa's rant. I'm bored of saying it, but we're moving forward at a snails pace.

So, keeper, midfielder, striker. Nowts changed much.

This is why I think we'll continue to sell one player for a high fee/massive profit every year or two. That so, I'll personally drive them all to the airport.

Correct. But we have strengthened in one area, and weekend another. Those who seem to be happy with our owners will be along in a moment to say that thing are alright, and that Lallana is the answer, except that he has just come back from along term injury and has a flat tire. I'm happy that Klopp is happy, as he is the glue holding this lot together. Imagine if he was unhappy.................. Theoretically another 5/10 window.
