On what planet does Slot deserve another crack at it? Sat here watching Villa in a cup final thinking when was the last time we looked like a coherent unit going forwards and backwards. Nothing within the last 6 months.

Two cracking goals. Nowhere near our level in our pomp, but Villa are miles ahead of us this season, yet we have better players in every position. Nice to watch a team attack a team, wish we would try that sometimes. Just shows how far we’ve regressed.

I’m going to waddle into work tomorrow and explain to my boss, that although I’ve been crap for the past 5 months, with a new pencil, I’ll be able to turn it around, and everything will be better by Christmas. See if that works. Think next weekend could get interesting
